The announcement by Google that it would delve into the Broadband ISP arena in select markets is quite interesting in the fact that it looks to be marrying a public advocacy with a public initiative, and where it counts the most, in broadband infrastructure. To me it seems more of a logical move, putting your money into a venture which supports your core competency, Internet openness, proliferation, adoption, and access.
As a beginner at internet marketing, there are two tools you will need almost immediately. Everyone, including me, will tell you to find a niche and develop a list. An autoresponder is a necessity. In a quest for net neutrality, over 23,000 Comcast Cable Internet Users mailed the Federal Communications Commission in an effort to put an end to the blocking of peer-to-peer traffic by the ISP. The FCC is set to investigate the complaint in the upcoming weeks and is requesting information regarding the case from all Comcast subscribers. This is not the first time that Comcast has been accused of blocking or slowing software programs or users.
Web hosting companies and their various programs and offerings are so prevalent on the internet that the problem is not in finding one, but rather making the choice between the huge number of offerings.
